CHRISTMAS TRIAL

Date: Sunday 14th December 2025 Permit no: ACU #206499

Announcement: The West of England Motor Club will organise a trial held under the National Sporting Code, The Trials Standing Regulations of the ACU and any final instructions that may be issued.

Eligibility: All riders must hold a current ACU Trials Registration Card or SACU Licence. Other riders must produce a licence and Start Permission confirming Insurance from their FMN.

Categories: Group A1 solo machines.

Start: Hound Tor, Ashburton, Devon, TQ13 7TS, What3 Words: preparing.verdict.helm 10am, riders not to arrive before 8.30am.

Entries:

  • As a thank you to riders for the club’s 100 year anniversary, online pre-entry fees for this event will be half price with the club funding the other half of the entry fee. Online entries to be made by 11th December 2025. £10 adult, £3 youth, £10 sidecars.

  • Day entries will be accepted if not filled with pre-entries for a higher entry fee of £20 adult, £10 youth, £20 sidecars.

  • Maximum 120 entries, first come first serve.

  • Please note that if the event is cancelled for any reason, including permit withdrawal, a deduction of £3 will be made for administration fees. Please do not enter if you do not accept these terms.

Refund policy:

  • Withdrawals received on or before 11th December 2025 will receive a full refund less any administration/online entry transaction fees.

  • Withdrawals after 11th December 2025 will receive no refund.

Classes:

Adult and Youth classes on each route -

  • Personal route - in the begins and out the ends

  • White route – novice/classic level

  • Yellow route – sportsman level

  • Red route – clubman level with a few lower level clubman expert sections

  • Sidecars

Method of marking: To be run under TRS 22B Non-stop ruling.

Sections: 3 laps of 10/12 sections, various starts.

Final Instructions & Results: To be emailed to riders and posted on our Facebook page.

A caterer will be in attendance.

Observers required, you will receive a meal voucher and a contribution towards your cost of getting to the event.
