Announcement: The West of England Motor Club will organise a trial held under the National Sporting Code, The Trials Standing Regulations of the ACU and any final instructions that may be issued.
Eligibility: All riders must hold a current ACU Trials Registration Card or SACU Licence. Other riders must produce a licence and Start Permission confirming Insurance from their FMN.
Categories: Group A1 solo machines.

Start: Widecombe Kiosk, Widecombe-in-the-Moor, Devon, TQ13 7TR, ///polygraph.magma.feast. First riders will start at 10am.
Please note: Please travel with a friend where possible for efficient parking at the start. This trial will follow the format of our Christmas Road Trial, we will have no observers as riders will ride in groups of approx. 4 and mark each other. Your entry fee includes a pasty after the event.
Entries:
80 riders maximum, online pre-entry only on www.southdevontrials.com, entry fee of £25.
Online entries only, entries will close on 4th March 2026 or when full, whichever comes first.
Entries will be accepted on a first come first serve basis, should the entry limit be exceeded ahead of the closing date a reserve list will be taken.
Please note that if the event is cancelled for any reason, including permit withdrawal, refunds will be less any admin fees. Please do not enter if you do not accept these terms.
Refund policy:
Withdrawals received on or before 4th March 2026 will receive a full refund less any administration/online entry transaction fees.
Withdrawals after 4th March 2026 will receive no refund.
Classes:
All classes will be able to choose from the Star, Classic or Personal routes when entering. Strictly trials tyres only front and rear, enduro bikes are not permitted.

Method of marking: To be run under TRS 22B Non-stop ruling.
The course: Will be 25-30 sections with use of public roads (approx. 20 miles). The public highway will be used: it is the rider’s responsibility to ensure that both their machine and themselves are fully legal for the purpose.
1. This event will use the public highway to link various events on private land.
2. The onus will be on the competitor to find their own route.
3. There will be no time constraints or penalties used.
4. On the public highway, merit attaches to a competitors performance, only in relation to good road behaviour and compliance with the Highway Code, in accordance with the Motor Vehicles [Competitions and Trials] Regulations 1969 Reg 5 [C]. Anyone in breach of these regulations will be disqualified.
Final Instructions & Results: To be emailed to riders and posted on the club website, www.southdevontrials.com and Facebook page.
